Higher Edge supports first-generation students to access college, earn a degree, and build the future they envision.

Higher Edge operates two high-quality sequential programs. The College Access Program (CAP) guides 12th graders as they navigate the college admissions process. Upon enrollment in college; CAP students can choose to transition into the Success Program, which provides holistic support to ensure they persist and achieve their degree.

CAP is the first step towards putting our students on a path to success. The Higher Edge team is trained on all aspects of the college admissions process and aims to match students to a school where they can be successful.

Success

The Success Program is dedicated to supporting students who completed CAP, the College Access Program. Advisors guide students from their first year in college until graduating with a Bachelor’s degree or up to 6 years.

History of Higher Edge

Higher Edge was founded in 2010, serving 6 high school students. The organization then grew to support these students as they continued in college, thus creating the Success Program. Since then, Higher Edge has seen over 168 students earn college degrees.
