Internships
Getting Students To And Through College
Since November 2021; Higher Edge has partnered with Elevate to Even Plus (Eleven+) to provide students with paid summer internships. As the only talent sourcing organization in Connecticut, students are paired with New London based nonprofit organizations. Sites include:
- Lyman Allyn
- New London Community Meal Center
- New London Homeless Hospitality Center
- New London Maritime Society
- Mystic Seaport
- New London Landmarks
- Project Oceanology
In the summer of 2022; a Higher Edge student was placed with Netflix as a Mobility Intern. From Willimantic, Netflix paid relocation fees to Los Angeles for the student to complete their internship.
