Higher Edge Annual Golf Tournament

When this tournament began in 2021, the organization’s now college seniors were freshmen. The event’s sponsors and golfers have literally seen our students through their college career. So here’s to next year. See you October 20, 2025!

Higher Edge’s Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Great Neck Country Club in Waterford, CT. This is Higher Edge’s primary fundraising event! Connecting 80 golfers and over two dozen sponsors; it’s always a great day!

Sponsorships are available at various levels, ranging from $125 – $1,000. Of course, there is also the chance to play for a great cause. Player cost is $125, which includes green fees, golf cart and dinner.

Graciela Guzman

Success Program Manager

Graciela has been a New London resident since her youth. After graduating from New London High School, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut. Her experiences as an undergraduate sparked initial interest in higher education. After working at a dual enrollment high school as an administrative assistant she decided to solidify that interest and obtain a Masters degree in Counselor Education with a specialization in Student Development in Higher Education. She joined Higher Edge to empower students to learn and embrace their academic, professional, and personal growth journeys.
